"Syllables" is a song by American rapper Eminem featuring American rappers Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Stat Quo, and Cashis. A tongue-in-cheek critique of the decline of lyricism in hip-hop, it was leaked online on December 28, 2010, and was released to US urban radio in January 2011. According to Cashis, it was recorded c. late 2007, although the chorus was changed at some point after the original recording sessions.
