Written by Toshiyuki O'mori with lyrics penned by Neko Oikawa, the song served as the theme song for the 1997 animated film Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth, and was released as Takahashi's fourteenth single on February 21, 1997, via Starchild.
