Seoul Economic Daily (Korean: 서울경제) is a South Korean business daily newspaper published in Seoul. It was founded on 1 August 1960 as a sister paper of the Hankook Ilbo by the publisher Chang Key-young, with the stated aim of supporting economic self-reliance and serving as a practical guide to household economics. Forced to cease publication in November 1980 under the Chun Doo-hwan government's media-consolidation policy, it resumed publication on 1 August 1988 and became independent of the Hankook Ilbo on 1 October 2000.
