Rythu bazaar

Wikipedia Overview

Rythu Bazaar is a type of farmers' market in the Indian states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. It is run by the Governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for small-scale farmers with small landholdings. The first market was started in January 1999 by N. Chandrababu Naidu. These markets help small and medium-scale farmers sell their agricultural products directly to customers at an optimal price without the involvement of mediators and help farmers be financially stable. The customers of towns and cities get these products directly from farmers at a lower rate.
