It is situated approximately 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) north of Barrows and 16 kilometres (9.9 mi) west of Dawson Bay, which is part of the larger Lake Winnipegosis. The lake lies about 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) east of the Saskatchewan border.
