Okpu Agu is a traditional knitted woollen cap worn by the Igbo people and Ekpe society members across southeastern Nigeria, including communities in Abia State, Ebonyi State, and Cross River State. It is cone-shaped with a bob or tail at the end, woven in alternating stripes of red, black, and white representing the spots of a leopard. The cap originated from the Abia and Cross River region through the Ekpe leopard society and is most closely associated with the warrior traditions of the Ohafia people.
