Nandyal district is a district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, with the town of Nandyal serving as its district headquarters. Formed on 4 April 2022 after being bifurcated from Kurnool district, it is situated within the Rayalaseema region. The town itself is a Special Grade Municipality and serves as the administrative headquarters for both the Nandyal mandal and the Nandyal revenue division.
