Edgar Frederick Luckenbach, Sr. was an American shipping magnate who inherited his father's steamship company, which he incorporated in 1913 under the name Luckenbach Steamship Company, Inc.. He was also the President of Luckenbach Terminal Company. At his death in 1943, his estate amounted to more than 60 million dollars, or around 700 million dollars in 2022 money.
