Kristrún Mjöll Frostadóttir is an Icelandic politician and economist who has served as the prime minister of Iceland since December 2024. She has also served as leader of the Social Democratic Alliance since October 2022. First elected to the Althing in the 2021 parliamentary election, she became Iceland's youngest-ever prime minister upon taking office at the age of 36. As of 2026, she is the world's second-youngest serving head of government.
