John Collins-Muhammad Jr. is a former American politician and Muslim minister from the state of Missouri. He led protests during the 2014 Ferguson Uprising and served on the Board of Aldermen of the City of St. Louis representing the 21st Ward. Collins-Muhammad was elected to his first term in April 2017 at the age of 25, the first Muslim and the youngest person to be elected alderman in St. Louis. He was re-elected to a second term in April 2021, but resigned in May 2022 amid an indictment for federal corruption and bribery charges.
