Jerry Krause was an American college basketball coach and director. He was the director of basketball operations for Gonzaga University between 1985 and 2015. Before joining Gonzaga, he primarily worked as a basketball coach at high schools in Iowa and Loveland, Colorado, from 1959 to 1964. After he moved to varsity basketball in 1964, he was an assistant coach for Colorado State College until 1967. From 1967 to 1985, he primarily coached at Eastern Washington University for its men's basketball team. With Eastern Washington, he had 291 wins and 197 losses before he became an assistant coach for the university from 1993 to 1994.
