Manufactured by Mack Rides, the gigacoaster opened as the tallest and fastest roller coaster in the United Kingdom on 24 May 2024, with a height of 236 feet (72 m) and a maximum speed that reaches 81 mph (130 km/h). It also features 4 inversions and was built on the site formerly occupied by Rocky Express. Hyperia suffered a series of setbacks during its inaugural few months, including an unexpected closure the day after its grand opening that lasted two and a half weeks.
