Stuart is a single-member electoral district for the South Australian House of Assembly. It is a vast country district extending from the Spencer Gulf in the south as far as the Northern Territory border in the north and the Queensland and New South Wales borders in the east, and the Western Australian border to the north-west. The district includes pastoral lease and unincorporated Crown Lands, Lake Eyre, part of the Simpson Desert in the far north and the Aṉangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands. Its main population centre since the 2020 boundaries redistribution is the industrial town of Port Pirie. It has been represented by independent MP Geoff Brock since 2022.
