Dzerzhinsky District is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-four in Kaluga Oblast, Russia. It is located in the northern central part of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,290 square kilometers (500 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Kondrovo. Population: 56,470 (2021 census); 60,377 (2010 census); 61,159 ; 59,599 (1989 Soviet census). The population of Kondrovo accounts for 27.9% of the district's total population.
