David Stuart Davies was a British writer. He worked as a teacher of English before becoming a full-time editor, writer, and playwright. He was the editor of Red Herrings, the monthly in-house publication of the Crime Writers' Association, and a member of The Baker Street Irregulars and the Detection Club.
