Clark Gordon Gilbert is an American religious leader and academic who is a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was ordained an apostle on February 12, 2026, filling a vacancy created by the death of Jeffrey R. Holland. He has been a church general authority since April 2021 and has been serving as the church commissioner of education since August of that same year. As a member of the Quorum of the Twelve, Gilbert is accepted by the church as a prophet, seer, and revelator. Currently, he is the junior and fifteenth most senior apostle in the church.
