Bruce Starr is an American politician and businessman in Oregon. He currently serves in the Oregon Senate representing District 12 since 2025 and in September of that year he was elected Senate Minority Leader. A member of the Republican Party, he served two terms in the Oregon House of Representatives before winning election to the Oregon State Senate in 2002 until 2014. There he joined his father, Senator Charles Starr, and they became the first father and son to serve at the same time in Oregon's Senate.
