Brendan O'Neill is a British author and pundit. He was the editor of Spiked from 2007 to September 2021, and is its chief political writer. Spiked is commonly identified as right-libertarian. Spiked magazine, Spiked Online and the Institute of Ideas are both based in the former Revolutionary Communist Party of Britain (Marxist–Leninist) offices but now promote right wing libertarianism.
