William Thomas Maas is an American former professional football player who was a defensive tackle for the Kansas City Chiefs (1984–1992) and Green Bay Packers (1993) of the National Football League (NFL). Maas was selected to the Pro Bowl in 1986 and 1987. In 1984 Maas was named the NFL Rookie of the Year by the Associated Press. He worked as a commentator for Fox Sports from 1995 to 2007. From 1998 to 2001, he served as studio anchor and game analyst for NFL games.
