Georgia Tech was a member of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Association (SIAA). The Tornado was coached by John Heisman in his 13th year as head coach, compiling a record of 8–0–1 and outscoring their opponents 421 to 20. Georgia Tech played its home games at Grant Field.
