1841 Liberty National Convention was held May 12–13, 1841 in New York City. Attended by more than 100 delegates of the fledgling Liberty Party, it selected party leadership and nominated a ticket for the 1844 United States presidential election. James G. Birney of New York was nominated for president and Thomas Morris of Ohio was nominated for vice president. However, as party membership grew in the months after the convention, it was ultimately decided to freshly revisit the matter of the party's presidential election nominees at a new presidential convention held in 1843. At the subsequent 1843 convention, Birney and Morris would again be nominated as the ticket for the election.
